AR Repair Technician Bentonville, AK

The Service Center Technician is a Service Operations position responsible for support of both pre and post sale service activities. Under general supervision, tasks will include: maintenance, troubleshooting, retrofits, upgrades/changes, and repair of products. Tasks associated with this position are performed within the Bentonville service center.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

I. Service/Support

1. Diagnose equipment problems using appropriate tools, test equipment, and documentation.
2. Capable of making repairs at the component level. Resoldering components and various connecters on the PCB required.
3. Perform engineering changes and retrofits on customers equipment in conjunction with routine maintenance.
4. Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

II. Personal Management Skills

1. Prepare accurate reports on a limited basis. Maintain logs and documentation on equipment and repair activities.
2. Alert supervisor and/or management on potential customer needs and/or equipment problems.
3. Accurate/timely return of repair paperwork and parts kits.
4. Adhere to established ESD guidelines, repair procedures, and associated safety standards.
5. Perform work duties in accordance with corporate policies.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to work required 40 hours per week and any over time as needed
Soldering skills
Working knowledge of a Volt/Ohm Meter
Common hands tools
Knowledge of networks and RF Systems preferred
Good working knowledge of PC and applicable software such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Completion of a two year Electronics Technology degree or equivalent experience is desirable but not required.
